About

Who We Are

We are a group of parents, family members, and community supporters who love music and want to help the music programs at Indian Valley Local Schools. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we work hard to support music education and create a strong community for our young musicians.
You can read more about us in our IV Music Boosters Constitution & Bylaws.

Our mission is to support the music programs at Indian Valley Local Schools through:

  • Fundraising: We organize events to raise money that helps provide instruments, supplies, and other needed resources.
  • Volunteering: We lend a hand at various music events and fundraisers throughout the year.
  • Communication: We promote communication between directors, parents, families, and the community—as we all work together to support students.

We believe music education is essential for our students and we see the results firsthand every day. It helps them grow creatively and teaches them important skills like teamwork and dedication. We want to support our teachers and students so they can have these skills for life.

Your support can make a big difference. Here are some ways you can help:

Attend Performances: Show your support by coming to concerts and shows! Check out our Events page for what’s coming up.

Attend Music Booster Meetings: Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the high school multipurpose room. A typical meeting lasts about an hour and is a great way to hear and share ideas about the planning process for our behind-the-scenes work. View Meeting Recaps.

Volunteer: We need volunteers for events and fundraising efforts. Your time and support matter!

Support Our Fundraisers: Join in our fundraising events, become a sponsor, or make a donation.
