Choir Visit to Muskingum University
“On Friday, the choir spent the day at Muskingum University, visiting the music department and touring the campus.
We were welcomed by Dr. David Turrill and Administrative Assistant Hannah Winland, who made our visit fantastic. The day started with a short clinic led by Dr. Daniel Strychacz. We engaged in introductions, fun musical games with the faculty, and a panel discussion that included Indian Valley alum Katelinn Kinsey. The students also attended an informative admissions presentation by Alex Fraley, enjoyed lunch, and took a campus tour.
The students were actively engaged in the question-and-answer sessions about music opportunities, careers, and other college pathways. Our tour included a peek at the Art department, a visit to the library, and a look at the new Health and Wellness Complex.
Thank you to our bus driver, Kimberly Grewell, for getting us there and back safely!”
