Your Donations Make a Difference

Indian Valley students are eager to express themselves through music. But while we’re fortunate to have some great music classes, not all costs are covered by the school budget. Our dedicated educators and boosters work creatively to maximize resources, but we need your help to continue providing essential music education experiences for our students.

Where Your Donation Goes

Awards and Scholarship

We recognize students by awarding them when they achieve excellence in leadership, skill, and showmanship. We also award a $500 scholarship each year to a deserving music senior to further their education.

Feeding the Marching Braves

Sometimes it’s hard for students to have time to wait in concessions and pay for food when they’re performing. We make sure students have meals or snacks, reducing stress for families and giving students time to eat.

Instrument Purchases and Repairs

Your donations help us purchase and repair instruments that are essential for classroom learning and performance. Having quality instruments in good working order greatly improves the quality of music education for students.

Travel Expenses

We pay for most of the costs related to traveling to compete and perform. This can include registration fees and awards. We also pay for expenses related to educational opportunities, such as college visits and music clinics.

Uniforms and Repairs

Donations help support our musicians by providing uniforms, including repairs and cleaning, and props. T-shirts for special events let our musicians show off their pride in representing Indian Valley.

The Importance of Music Education
