Marching Band State Finals at Medina Recap & Photo Dump

|

Last night, the Marching Braves performed their show, “Artworks” at the OMEA State Marching Band Finals in Medina, marking the final competition of the season.

As is tradition, Braves fans lined the streets of Gnadenhutten to see the band off as they left town. We were fortunate with the weather – it was a bit chilly, but thankfully we avoided any major weather-related problems, which we totally count as a win!

The band received an overall rating of Excellent (2) for their performance. While it may not have been the result everyone was hoping for, we are incredibly proud of their dedication and hard work this season! This year was the 5th year in a row the Braves have qualified for state and it’s been a season full of fun, memories, and music.

Here’s a video of the send-off and some photos from last night:

And a few more from the season:

Thank you to all who shared your photos of the marching band this season:

If you missed last night’s performance or want to relive the experience, we highly recommend getting an OMEA All-Access Pass. You can choose between a monthly or annual option and enjoy not only this year’s show but also performances from previous years. It’s also a great way for students to watch the show!

That’s it for now. We’ll see everyone again under the Friday night lights at playoff game #2!

Go Braves ❤️💙🤍
