Muskingum University Choral YouthFest: A Day of Music for Six Choir Members

Six members of our high school choir participated in Muskingum University’s Choral YouthFest yesterday. This annual event brings students from local high schools together for a day of music and fun. Gavin Garabrandt, Riley Positano, Faith West, Cason Gray, Rachel Glazer, and Rose Glazer represented Indian Valley after their nomination.

The event showcased talent from eight regional schools, packed with workshops and rehearsals led by Muskingum University faculty. The day ended with a special performance for friends and family. Senior Cason Gray captured the spirit of the event when he said, “YouthFest brings people together… it’s an amazing experience.“

A big thank you to IV alum Katelinn Kinsey, who is now in the Muskingum University Choir and helped with the day’s events. Thanks also to Mrs. Glazer for supporting our students, as always. Thanks to our participants, who represented Indian Valley music so well! We love it when our students get to enjoy opportunities like this.
