Marching Band Competition @ Copley
The band has been busy making small adjustments to the show and the fans have been packing their ponchos. Last night, we were treated to beautiful weather as we enjoyed performances from a total of 16 bands at the Copley Marching Band Competition.
This clip features our soloist, Rose Glazer, during the third movement of the show titled “Balance.” The marchers creating the infinity symbol on the field is stunningly artistic!
The band’s hard work truly paid off; they almost received straight ones from every judge! Here are their scores:
- General Effect 1: 1
- General Effect 2: 1
- Visual: 2
- Music 1: 1
- Music 2: 1
- Percussion: 1
- Color Guard: 1
Which means…
Yes! The Marching Braves are headed to state!
But the season’s still not over. We have a double-header competition day coming up next weekend. And with an undefeated football team headed into our last regular season game, we anticipate many more exciting Friday night lights!
We’ll update the Events page with details for state as soon as we have them. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out these recent posts:
